1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as the “GTCS”) govern the sale of tandem skydiving jump services offered by Aventure Saut en Parachute, a company registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 991 459 777, via the website paris-parachute.com.
Any order placed on the website implies the full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS by the customer.
2. Services Offered
Aventure Saut en Parachute offers tandem skydiving jumps, carried out with a certified and qualified instructor, in accordance with applicable regulations.
The service includes:
the tandem skydiving jump,
supervision by a certified instructor,
civil liability insurance related to the activity.
Additional options (photos, videos, etc.) may be offered and are subject to separate billing.
3. Conditions of Participation
Participation in a tandem skydiving jump is subject to the following conditions:
compliance with the minimum age required by regulations and by the center,
compliance with weight and height limits defined for tandem skydiving,
absence of any medical contraindication to skydiving.
A medical certificate of fitness for skydiving may be required depending on the participant’s age, health condition, or applicable regulations.
The participant undertakes to provide accurate information regarding their state of health.
Any false declaration may result in cancellation of the service without refund.
4. Order and Booking
Orders for tandem skydiving jumps are made exclusively online via the website paris-parachute.com.
The purchase results in the issuance of a jump ticket, valid under the conditions defined in these GTCS.
The jump date may be booked either at the time of purchase or later via the website’s booking system.
Aventure Saut en Parachute reserves the right to refuse or postpone a booking if safety conditions are not met.
5. Prices and Payment
Prices are indicated in euros (€), all taxes included (VAT included).
Full payment is required at the time of ordering and is made using the secure payment methods available on the website.
The order is considered final once payment has been confirmed.
6. Ticket and Beneficiary
The purchase of a service results in the issuance of a tandem skydiving jump ticket.
The ticket may be:
used by the purchaser, or
used by a third-party beneficiary designated by the purchaser.
In all cases, the same rules, conditions, and restrictions apply, regardless of the actual beneficiary of the ticket.
Validity Period
The ticket is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Change of Beneficiary
The beneficiary of the ticket may be changed prior to the performance of the service, provided that the new beneficiary:
provides a compliant medical certificate of fitness,
meets all participation conditions defined in Article 3 (age, weight, health condition, regulations).
Aventure Saut en Parachute reserves the right to refuse a change of beneficiary if the required conditions are not met.
Tickets are:
non-refundable,
not exchangeable for cash.
Once the validity period has expired, the ticket is considered lost and no refund will be issued.
7. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services that must be provided on a specific date or within a specified period.
Consequently, tandem skydiving services are not subject to the right of withdrawal.
8. Cancellation and Postponement
Cancellation by the Customer
Any cancellation request must be made no later than 3 calendar days before the scheduled jump date.
Cancellations made within this timeframe may result in a postponement of the service, subject to the ticket’s validity period.
Any cancellation made less than 3 days before the scheduled date, or failure to attend on the day of the jump, will result in the loss of the ticket, with no refund or postponement.
Cancellation or Postponement by the Organizer
Aventure Saut en Parachute reserves the right to postpone or cancel a service for safety reasons, including but not limited to:
unfavorable weather conditions,
technical constraints,
instructor unavailability,
administrative or regulatory decisions.
In such cases, a new date will be offered, with no additional compensation.
9. Weather Conditions
Skydiving is strictly dependent on weather conditions.
In the event of unfavorable conditions on the day of the jump, the service will be automatically postponed to a later date, subject to the ticket’s validity period.
10. Liability and Insurance
Aventure Saut en Parachute is covered by professional civil liability insurance for all services offered.
The company shall not be held liable in the event of failure to comply with safety instructions or participation conditions by the beneficiary.
11. Personal Data
Personal data collected during ordering and booking is processed in accordance with applicable regulations and the Privacy Policy available on the website.
12. Intellectual Property
All elements of the website (texts, images, videos, logos, photographs) are protected by intellectual property law.
Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These GTCS are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the customer is invited to contact Aventure Saut en Parachute in order to seek an amicable solution.
Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.
Language and Prevailing Version
This English version of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale is provided for information purposes only.
In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English version and the French version, the French version shall prevail.
